We have extensive working knowledge of the key forms of contract used in the rail sector and can assist clients with both reviewing and negotiating contracts pre-award. Thereafter, we can help to develop contract management processes and procedures during project delivery. This includes Network Rail’s bespoke suite of NR contracts (including the amended ICC forms) and the suite of NEC3/NEC4 contracts which are becoming more widely used in the industry. We also have experience working within Alliance style arrangements which have become the norm for major rail programmes across the UK and internationally. In addition, we have supported SME’s in the review and negotiation of bespoke forms of subcontracts that the Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors often propose at the subcontract level of procurement.
